The closer you get to the gateway of the Georgia mountains, the better you’ll feel. With communities like Blairsville, Blue Ridge, Hiawassee, and Young Harris Georgia. You have lots of communities to choose from. While each Georgia mountain community offers it’s own unique feel. So which one would you like to call home?
State Parks in the North Georgia Mountains
North Georgia has an abundance of State Parks. Most noteworthy is Amicalola Falls State Park, Tallulah Gorge State Park, Unicoi State Park and Vogel State Park. In addition there are other less known State Parks like Black Rock, Fort Mountain, Moccasin Creek, and Smithgall Woods State Park. All awaiting your adventure!
In addition to State parks, this beautiful area also offers six recreational mountain lakes. Connected by pure mountain steams. We boast three national forest and five wild life areas. Especially relevant is the start of the Appalachian trail. Offering miles of hiking and biking trails.
We serve five counties in two states. In North Carolina we serve the towns of Hayesville NC, Murphy NC, and Andrews North Carolina. In Georgia we cover Blairsville Ga, Blue Ridge Ga, Hiawassee Ga, and Young Harris Georgia.
