Lake Blue Ridge Recreation Area and Campsites

Lake Blue Ridge Recreation Area located in the Chattahoochee National Forest near Blue Ridge, Georgia. It has 55 campsites in the area, surrounding the lake with grills, picnic tables and tent pads, bathrooms and showers; no hookups provided. There is a mixture of tent & RV camping, recreational vehicle cannot exceed 28 feet. The maximum stay at any campsite is two weeks or 14 nights.

Hikers can see beautiful views of the lake as they hike the half-mile loop trail that follows the shoreline. Lake Blue Ridge Recreation Area opens in mid-April and closes in late October; gates open at 7 a.m. and close at 10 p.m. daily. Camping facilities are available for rent starting May 8th and ending the season on October 31st.
