Directions from Dahlonega
Go Hwy. 60 North approximately 16 miles and turn left at Tritt's Store (closed) across from Woody Lake. Then go 1.6 miles and turn right on Canada Creek Road. It is best to have a 4 wheel drive for this part of the trip. Go 2.4 miles to the ford across Canada Creek passing two concrete silos shortly before reaching the ford. Cross Canada Creek and follow on foot the obscure trail down the right side of the creek. The distance from the ford to the falls is approximately 0.9 miles and requires a lot of climbing over steep terrain.
This falls on Canada Creek is on private property and not open to the public. However Canada Creek passes through the Chattahoochee National Forest by several falls before reaching private land. You can reach many of these drops by approaching from upstream. follow on foot the obscure trail down the right side of the creek. The distance from the ford to the falls is approximately 9/10th a mile and requires a lot of scrambling over steep terrain through rhododendron thickets.
